Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Isn't it against Facebook's Terms of Service to track Facebook visitors?
A: FBspace doesn't track your old profile's visitors. Unfortunately that's impossible. You will track your Facebook visitors when they come to your FBspace profile. Because the FBspace profile is an application, it's allowed to collect metrics and information about its users, your visitors.
Q: What information does the tracker show?
A: It shows IP address, browser type, their Facebook profile ID, their default picture, and for the first 24 hours after collection, shows their full name. To see what the Facebook Profile Tracker interface looks like, click here.
Q: Do I have to know html in order to customize my layout?
A: Because of the popularity of MySpace, which allows html, many websites provide codes that work just by copying and pasting them. We provide an intuitive WYSIWYG profile editor, a style generator, and lots of sample codes, premade layouts, tutorials, and useful websites to aid you. And if you have a question, post it on the forums and we'll get you an answer ASAP.
Q: Why charge a fee, can't you just use advertising or some other monetization?
A: If you charge 5 dollars a month for a service, and 100 people use it, you make as much as you would if 10,000 people used it and you relied on advertising. Having a large userbase presents many issues regarding hosting, support, and uniqueness of having an FBspace profile. Our customer support is unparalleled in the social networking industry, and we believe in our service. If you aren't satisfied within the first 7 days of your subscription, we'll refund your money.
Q: Can I hide sections of my profile from non-friends?
A: You can do just about anything you want with these profiles. You can show content to only certain people, and you can hide content from specific users as well. See the FBML reference link for more information.
Q: I have a question that isn't here, help?
A: Feel free to send questions to support@fbspace.net! If you are already subscribed, head to http://forums.profiletracker.us and post a new topic. |
